Since its founding in 1946, Nelson Nameplate has created lasting
impressions for thousands of leading companies and products. Fred
Nelson started this company with a dream and enough equipment to
fill a modest 1,000 square foot warehouse in Los Angeles. Since
that time, the management has changed, our location has changed,
but our commitment to serving our customers has never wavered. We’ve
endured fires and recessions, changes in styles and changes in technology,
yet through it all have continuously improved the quality of products
we produce. If you’re new to our company, welcome.

new home in Los Angeles is less than a mile from that small warehouse
where Fred Nelson started, but it’s a world away in technology

A History of Commitment: In 1955, Fred Nelson sent a letter to customers explaining that a devastating fire had limited the ability to meet deadlines. Forty-eight hours later, Nelson Nameplate was back in business.
