Front Panel Windows & Front Panel Lenses
Some parts are meant to be seen, and some are meant to be seen through. For these, Nelson manufactures a variety of front panel windows and front panel lenses for our customers. Typical materials include Polycarbonate and Acrylic. Many different processes are performed on these materials to fabricate parts that best meet the needs of each application. Screen printing is used for adding borders and other copy. Die cut gaskets of adhesive and foam can be added for attachment. Hardcoats are available for added abrasion resistance and improved optical properties. The advantages can be crystal-clear.
